How restore ZTE Open C (Ebay) default firmware
Hi! I Install rooted firmware here: http://en.comebuy.com/developer-firefox-os-open-c.html. The main reason was to install Russian keyboard. Then I compiled and installed Gaia 1.3 with Russian keyboard. All Correct.
I learned that the new official firmware from ZTE already includes Russian keyboard. And I wanted to try it. However, I get an error when trying to flash the phone using sd card or Open_C_upgrade_Tool. Error is "E:failed to verify whole-file signature E:signature verification failed Installation aborted"
How i may restore default firmware?

Problem is solved. I use firmware mod with «testkey» key from here and upgrade from sd card.

Unzip update.zip, you'll find a file named recovery.img there. Turn off the phone, and press Power + Volume Down to load it into bootloader mode. Connect it via USB and run fastboot boot recovery.img (or fastboot flash recovery recovery.img), this will load the stock recovery firmware which should verify the update successfully.
There is an update with the ZTE Open C in regards to the keyboards. I'm not sure if this is over the air but have you checked to see if that download is available directly from the device?
For this firmware updates are not...
After the command fastboot boot recovery.img appears <waiting for device> and nothing happens. If I run adb devices command the device is found. Tested on windows and linux
