I am using ubuntu 18.04 and firefox version 60.02 and I've been facing this problem for last 2 days. The problem is that whenever I tries to access whichever website it gives me this error. But I am accessing the websites which i've visited earlier and their icons are showing on mozilla firefox homepage.

"Secure Connection failed

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified."

The things that i've tried are: checking the date and timezone setting refreshing the mozilla firefox connecting the websites in safe mode restarting with adds-on disabled setting security.ssl.enable_ocsp_stapling to false and all the things I found on ask-ubuntu community and this forum.

And one more thing is that i've set my ubuntu to read from local time instead of UTC because i am a dual user (both windows and ubuntu) and ubuntu's UTC time format was causing me a problem by using: " timedatectl set-local-rtc 1"

I've also undone this by using: "timedatectl set-local-rtc 0" but it hasn't also helped me.
