Will I still be able to list emails by sender or recipient with the new, combined "correspondants" column?

Before I install the newest update, I have a question about listing emails. Now that the sender and recipient columns will be combined, can the sender and recipient columns be retained? (shown separately) I hope this question makes sense, I'm having trouble making it clear...

The choices are all still there including the new Correspondents. You can turn on or off any columns that you like.

The problem is that now I have to go through every single folder and reset all the columns. This is annoying and a huge waste of my time. I want a way to restore the previous settings, from before the upgrade.

Why do you always do this when you do updates? You should give users a dialogue box that asks if we want to try the new way, or keep the old one, and you should allow us a quick and easy toggle to revert after a trial if we do opt to try your suggestion.

As it is, I feel like you are randomly disorganizing my workspace on a whim, without my consent, and wasting my time.

Please provide a fix for this problem.

I am unhappy with these changes of design, too.

If you have the same prefs/layout of columns in each folder, the following can help:

To apply the column layout to other folders, select Apply columns to from the column list. Select Folder to apply the changes to one specific folder. Select Folder and its children to apply the changes to a selected folder and all sub-folders beneath it. Under Folder and its children, you can select an email address (which will apply the folder configuration to all folders beneath that address) or a specific folder under an email address. Note that if you apply the changes from one folder to another, the column positions and sizes will also be applied.
