I cancelled a flight with Southwest and then, because of a constant spinning disk and slow response of my mac book, I closed Firefox and shut down the computer. Southwest is now saying I didn't cancel the flight so I am trying to restore the page that showed I did. I can get the tabs from the session restored, but it will only take me to the page to input the data. How can I get back the original page where it shows I did?

Unfortunately, transactional pages on secure servers often contain instructions not to cache them, or short expiration times. Therefore, it can be impossible to reconstruct exactly what you saw because, as you experienced, the original page you saw either was not cached at all, or was dumped from the cache due to the passage of time.

It may be the data was not sent before the browser froze. Does this happen a lot?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Use this link to check that your plugins are up-to-date. If any are listed as unknown or research, do not worry about them.

Also make sure that you check pages in the history in offline mode to avoid Firefox from requesting a new page from the server.
