Why can't I access any Add-ons from the Add-on site?

When I go to the Add-ons page, the add-ons turn from bright and ready to access to a greyed out...foggy like appearance in a second. And when I click one and try to install it anyway I get this message, "

To install this add-on and thousands more, get Firefox, a free and open web browser from Mozilla.

Learn more about Firefox

or download anyway"

When I click the "download anyway" (since I just up-graded to Firefox 37.0 an hour earlier and have been using it all that time), I get this message, "The download could not be downloaded because of a connection failure on add-ons.Mozilla.org"

This happens with ALL the add-ons in the Add-on site. Not some..ALL.
It has been doing this for months.

After searching site after site...including Mozilla, the very few suggestions I have read regarding this seem to suggest the reader is somehow either sub-moronic or is an I.T whiz and will understand two pages of raw code.

 I am neither!
 Don't need the why...
Just need a simple step by step...how do I fix it. Please.

While you're at it fix the Yahoo toolbar. Please.

User Agent: Firefox/37.0 (x86 en-US); anonymized by Abelssoft 1176230852

This is due to the modified Firefox useragent that sites receives as shown in your More System Details on right of your post.

This may help https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/websites-say-firefox-outdated-or-incompatible

Unless you are referring to the search engine in Search Bar, Mozilla does not make or maintain the Yahoo! Toolar extension as that would be Yahoo!.
