Please forward appropriately. I have no issue with gay marriage either but to let that man go because of his donation 10 years ago is unconscionable. I will go back to IE now.

You can look at this Mozilla blog post about "FAQ on CEO Resignation":

Brendan Eich resigned himself and said: “I have decided to resign as CEO effective April 3rd, and leave Mozilla. Our mission is bigger than any one of us, and under the present circumstances, I cannot be an effective leader. I will be taking time before I decide what to do next.”

You can look at these pages:

Also, it was reported than Brendan made a donation to Prop 8 in 2008 not 2004. I don't know where you got the 10 years ago from...

I, as a volunteer and fellow Firefox user, do know how you feel. As an insider, I can say that it's not as bad as the media makes it seem. Mozilla is a huge group of really awesome people who strive to make the Web a better place.

Furthermore, this thread is off-topic and shouldn't be discussed here as this is a place meant for technical support.

If you would like to discuss this further, please post in the governace list.

I'll be closing this thread as this is off-topic. This is not to silence you but to give you the information that I currently have and to direct you to the appropriate place for this type of discussion.
