Yellow warning signs appear when I want to go to a different Tab and can't open them.

My cat likes my keyboard and sleeps on it. It's the second time she managed to lock all the opened tabs. When I click on a tab I want to see a yellow warning shield appears and the tab won't open. Clicking any link will open a new window and if I click a link in that new window another window will open. Scrolling up and down doesn't work anymore, it makes the pages go back and forth. The only thing to end this is restarting my pc.

What are the yellow warning signs, maybe a screenshot would help.

If you disconnect from the internet you will get warnings and they may include yellow triangles.

Are you using the problem laptop again now or are you using something the cat has not been sleeping on ?

From what you say it seems Firefox is working ok but some tabs still will not work

Here is a link to a screenshot. That is how it looks. If I click on one of the taps it won't open, just lock or unlock. http://s28.postimg.org/p8mw9frjx/screenshot.png

I can turn those warning signs manually on and off with a right mouseclick "protect tab" (Tab schützen German FF) when everything is normal. BUT when my cat has been around I'm NOT able to turn "protect tab" off.

This looks like an extension. Please do the Following:

Update to Firefox 27.0.1 Update Firefox to the latest release

Reset Firefox: Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings

This is likely a feature that is added by an extension (?Tab Mix Plus) and you can check the TMP settings to see if you can remove/hide this item from the tab context menu.
