Well, the easiest way is to check the add-ons page on the Firefox add-ons site. It will tell you if it's compatible with Firefox 11. As well, starting in Firefox 11, most of the compatibility issues present in FF 4 through 10 have been fixed. A dialog will walk you through updating upon getting the latest patch.

We strongly suggest you update to Firefox 11 ASAP, as it adds many new features, patches, and security fixes not available to Firefox 3 users. Here's the download link (direct from Mozilla's download servers).
