Does FF for Windows ME still exist?

Ack! my wonderful puter is in the shop and I'm stuck using this antique, windows ME. its virtually impossible to navigate the web, mostly because of IE 497 ads loading per browser page. I'm wondering if and how to download a compatible old version of FF that I can use until next week when I get my other puter fixed. web navigation is so terrible that I lock up and have to reboot after it takes about 3 minutes to load one web page. any suggestions out there?

Firefox 2.0.0.20 is the last ever version of Firefox for Win98 / SE / ME. Get it from here:
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/rel.../en-US/

You can try KernelEx to get Firefox 3+ to work, but it would be very slow with an old PC of less than 750Mhz.

you are my HERO!!! thank you so much. good lord its 500% better. I can even read the news!!! hehe I cannot tell you how annoying it was to try to navigate the web. I just opened up two emails, switched back and forth to a couple of firefox pages, all within about 15 seconds and didnt crash or lock up not a once! thank you again for taking the time to read my post and respond so timely.  :)
