I want to show icons in my navigation toolbar but text only in my bookmarks toolbar.

In Firefox 3, I could display icons in my navigation toolbar and text in my bookmarks toolbar. The default setting for the bookmarks toolbar seems to be icons + text, which takes up so much space that the bookmarks I use don't fit across the top of my screen. When I choose "icons" in the customize toolbars menu, I get icons in the navigation toolbar and icons + text in the bookmarks toolbar. When I choose "text," I get text only in both. Is there a way to have icons in the navigation toolbar and text only in the bookmarks toolbar?

Thanks. Lisa

You can do that with the Bookmarks Deiconizer extension - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/bookmarks-deiconizer
