Hi, why does Firefox always download PDF files, no matter what option you chose (open with Firefox, open with other Adobe, always ask...)? It just does the same thing Chrome does, and I don't like Chrome for that reason too. I would like to see PDF files in Firefox or Adobe for instance, without downloading them. Thanks.

Hi

For any app on your computer to be able to be used to view a file, the file needs to be downloaded first.

Well, it used to be downloaded to a temp folder and got deleted after I closed Firefox. Now, it just stays in my downloads folder, so something must have been changed in Firefox.

Enter about:config in your address bar and check that the following preference is true. browser.download.start_downloads_in_tmp_dir
