I have a new laptop with windows 11. I downloaded Firefox and it worked well. It seems like last night it did an automatic upgrade and when I try to open it, I get the following message: "platform error, version 115.0.1 is not compatible with minVersion >= 114.0.2 maxVersion >= 114.0.2. Help. Can I reinstall what I downloaded before? If so, how do I keep from future updates again causing this error?

Whoops, somehow your program files got mixed up between two different versions of Firefox.

Question: do you use the traditional Firefox that you download from Mozilla, or do you use the Windows store version? The following advice is for the traditional Firefox.

You need to re-run the current installer, which actually is 115.0.2. You can download it from:
