Hi all,

First, I apologize if this is a duplicate topic. In the association I work in, I got a colleague of mine that has the same issue as me. We work as IT technicians in different social establishments and we've been recently informed by few users that when they launch FF, all their customization is gone (bookmarks, passwords...), as if FF launches a new profile. We've noticed that it seems to be occuring with one of the latest FF version or even the latest one. We've tried by taking back the datas from the old profile folder and copying it in the new one. On my end, it worked with a user, but on my colleague's end it seems not cause even by copying the datas, FF has reproduced the same behaviour.

Could you help with that ?

Since this isn't a Support ticket line but End user help forum. FYI. So what needs to be known is how is it updating their Firefox and one should back just the profile but properly do it following Firefox FAQ instructions on how to backup the profile so it correctly update the right profile.

Just copying folder can lead to profile issues not loading or deleting the wrong settings or data.
