I tried to get a Account recovery key. When I enter the password it responds that it it is not correct. This is the password I have for my account. Why is this happening?

It has to be your main password. Beyond the correct password no one here can help nor recover your password for you. If this is synced account and your not on the Main computer that has the login then you need to go there first and un-sync the account and try again. Recovery or Reset sends to the Main email login to do password reset.

I faced this problem too. The resolution is quite simple : you have to write your password into the place required to. don't copy/paste it.
