Since "upgrading" to 95.0.2 firefox crashes frequently, and website, particularly game sites, stutter, repeat, and crash. Please tell me how I can go back to a working version. This unreliable version is just too frustratingly Microsoft for my mental health.

We're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing. In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A list of Submitted/Unsubmitted Crash Reports will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Submitted Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

I'm having this same problem, except I'm not even doing anything as memory intensive as gaming. I'm just browsing simple news sites. Searching "95.0.2" on this forum seems to reveal that this update broke more than it fixed. Is this an admitted issue that will expedite another update? The browser is practically unusable in this version.

Sorry, I was way too hasty blaming a Firefox update for this issue. I jumped to conclusions, since Chrome seemed to be working just fine. However, I later noticed that Opera was having the same problem. A simple restart seems to have resolved this.

Restarts don't solve the problem. The pages seem to "take pictures" that is, flash on and off and the Firefox browser just crashes. I just want to revert back to an earlier version. THAT's ALL. If I can't do that I guess I will turn to Opera or something else. I've about had it with Firefox.

Hi ckrof, if you don't want help making Firefox 95 work, another option would be to run the Extended Support Release of Firefox 91, which will be maintained with security patches until next Fall. You can find more information in the following article: Switch to Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) for personal use.
