Subject. Wiped my drive to install Arch Linux (btw). Now im trying to enter my password which doesn't work. I don't remember changing it(?). When i go to the "I forgot password" page it says that all my passwords and bookmarks will be removed. All my passwords were saved in here and i don't wanna lose them.

Go to one of the other members of your sync and get the password from them.

Type about:preferences#security<enter> in the address bar. Look under Logins,

Note: For Firefox v56+ its; about:preferences#privacy Look under Forms & Passwords Or type about:logins<enter> in the address box. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Turn on Remember Logins. To check the passwords you have listed, press Saved Logins.

Press the Exceptions button and see what's inside.

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.
