Acitve tab almost indistinguishable from other tabs

more options

After updating to Firefox 65 (for macOS) I noticed that the active tab is almost indistinguishable from other tabs - now only a thin blue line indicates it. How can that be changed?

Thanks.

PS (a couple of hours later): After learning how to move the tab bar back down (which is in Firefox 65 not working anymore as before) the blue line has become more prominently visible which makes the active tab more prominently visible. I can live very well with that and consider my problem as solved.

Well, glad to hear that you figured out a good alternative. I thought it was worth noting as well that you could change your Firefox theme. If you are using the light or dark theme, the contrast between the tabs may be difficult to see. However, if you run the default theme, the active tab will be white and the background tabs will be black.
