Hi everyone, I am using macbook pro 2017, when I do mouse hovering, it automatically switches windows. I have never experienced this problem before, can anyone please explain me what's happening and how can I solve this, it only happens in Mozilla Thunderbird, not on other apps.

Here is a demonstration video: https://youtu.be/BAd8LljZjCw

Your help is very much appreciated!

Nothing to do with Thunderbird :) Your MAC OS sounds like you have 'Focus Follows Mouse' activated. The Focus follows mouse feature, I think might be called Afloat. It has a menu bar option in all OS X applications under Window>Focus Follows mouse that is easily accidentally selected.
