I am well aware that firefox and dropbox are different. My query arises out of a security question raised by dropbox. My regular browser being firefox I seek advice as to whether firefox operates out of stoke newington as that is the location of the IP address queried by dropbox.

Firefox is the name (was Phoenix and Firebird in early days) of the web browser and not a company or such as that would be Mozilla.

The message to me is saying somebody on whatever OS or device they were using tried to access your dropbox account whether intentionally or by mistake on details like a typo. They may not even have been using a version of Firefox web browser.

It could even be a notice due to your own access if you used a different browser and or IP compared to normal use.

Some sites may give you a notice if you accessed or attempt to account with a different web browser or OS or device compared to what you normally use for example.

Why would Firefox be accessing your Dropbox ? No matter where it is..... You been hacked, change your password for it and if Yahoo account also it. Or you gave a Url to someone and they accessed it from there. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/contact/spaces/london/

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
