In the Windows 10 taskbar, the Firefox pages that appear in the list of "frequent" and "pinned" pages shows the Firefox icon and not the icon for the website

The Firefox icon also replaces the LinkedIn icon on older LinkedIn pages as well as the YouTube icon on YouTube pages.

if not already please update to 57.0.2 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version

I believe that is what it does now. Under Options --> Tabs and Tick Show Tab Previews All Tabs can be seen as a web page when mouse over Icon. Once have too many tabs open it changes to a list of site URL's

I am on 57.0.2 and all was working properly until about 3 weeks ago. I tried the Show Tab Previews suggestion and this did not help. I have attached an image of the problem. You will see the firefox icon applied to "LinkedIn"
