why it it taking a long time to transfer data when first on firefox

I have a new computer and installed firefox. I was using google chrome as my browser but switched over to firefox. When I am using my phone hotspot it takes a LONG time to upload a page and I continue to see the transferring data from..... and yet after 20 minutes the page is still not completely loaded.
