All links open in a new tab
All links I click always open in a new tab. I mean, really ALL links, even links which do not use target='_blank" or something like that. I don't press Ctrl key. All was fine until yesterday and I haven't explicitly changed any configuration. I cannot make any update (and I cannot have done any), since it happens on a computer which is not connected to the internet.
Maybe there is a configuration I've changed by pressing a conbination of keys unintentionally, but I can't find anything in the configuration about that (about:config).
I'm using Firefox 10.0.2 on Linux Mint 12
Thanks for any help.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
Sorry I did not mention that, but I already tried this.
