Everytime I start firefox it goes to https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/ except that I've already updated all my plugins.
I'm using firefox 3.6.17. One day I launched firefox and was directed to this webpage. https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/
After updating all my plugins, I restarted my browser. However, now every time I launch firefox the above webpage comes up.
The webpage even shows that all my plugins are either green or grey.

The "MetaStream 3 Plugin r4 " extension has been reported to cause this issue.

That did the trick. I uninstalled MetaStream3 from firefox and a program called Viewpoint Media from my computer.
