My old Linux computer died and I have removed the still good SSD from it. I have installed the latest Firefox on my new computer and would like to restore the bookmarks and other saved data to the new computer.

I am running Ubuntu 20.04, the old computer was on Ubuntu 18.04.

Can these things be restored, and if so what do I need to do?

These articles describe where Firefox stores your browsing data (profile folder) and which files contain what data that you might want to migrate to your current profile on your new computer.

I'm not sure about Linux, but on Windows and Mac, profile folders are under a hidden path and you need to set the file browser to show hidden files and folders to easily get to them.
