how do I find out if a download is legit? I have two that won't let medo anything till I download them (jincloude and rangersover)

Both take over and won't let me do anything. sometimes the even hide the log out button and I have to turn off the computer but cutting off the power. I am 76 and don't understand these infernal machines Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for posting. This is not really a question about Firefox, but it sounds like you are suffering from malware. You can try removing the problem with built-in Windows security.

You can find it by typing Windows Security in the start menu and running it. You can then start a virus scan from there.

If that fails, I would recommend getting help with reinstalling Windows on your computer.

I am very sorry that you have to deal with this.
