I need to use a public network soon. I was going to use a VPN service. I just enabled Firefox Private Network. Will it protect me in the same way?

I need to use a public network soon. I was going to use a VPN service. I just enabled Firefox Private Network. Will it protect me in the same way?

The biggest thing to note is that Firefox Private Network will only protect the traffic in Firefox, not in other apps. So if you use Chrome, it won't be encrypted.

As long as this is ok, than you should give it a try!
