Multiple times today, ive had firefox's memory usage jump to 1.300,000K (according to task manager). At this point the tabs stop loading right, blackness fills entire windows, firefox crashes if i try to close it, etc. Before this was just happening if i left the browser open on an auto-refresh page too long. But now its happening constantly from simple normal use like youtube. Im watching the memory usage as im typing this. This is the only window/tab open. Since Ive started writing it has gone from 150,000 K to 193,000 K. And still going up. Ive turned off addons, updated everything, refreshed firefox, Its now up to 210,000 k and typing this message is all im doing with it. I did notice a momentary lag as it spiked up another 10,000 K but again, I was just typing. Its becoming very hard to use, as one might imagine. ive updated windows, my video card, etc. disabled and enabled hardware acceleration - neither seemed to do anything. And i"m just started to get really frustrated with how unstable it is. Im sending the troubleshooting information data. if it says my addons are enabled, its because turning them off did nothing to improve or worsen the situation. so have them on for now.
