trying to sync my desktop V 35, with new android note 4 firefox; Will not sync. Your help directions are inaccurate: You tell me to Unlink, go to menu and Click the menu button New Fx Menu and choose Options. Select the Sync panel. In the Sync panel click Unlink This Device. (THIS LINE DOES NOT EXIST) tHE SNIP BELOW says my email is not verified, have done it 4 times. When we get there what goes in device name? phone model I am sending too??? Is a separate app required to make this happen? If I can't get this done, I will need to switch to chrome already preloaded on the Note, might be a lot less hassel.

You're not going to see Unlink while that message appears in the Sync tab. You need to verify your email address.

Sorry, I have never seen that message in Sync options. Was a message sent to that email address for you to respond to in some manner?

NO there was not, just click the verify button and nothing happens, click ok and nothing happens.

See if you can log in to the Firefox Accounts server. https://accounts.firefox.com/signin


Is that a new account? If so, did you receive the verification email for the new account and click on the verification link? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-set-and-use-firefox-accounts-mozilla-services

I can log into the server. The account is there so it is not new. If a verification email could be sent/resent and lets try it again see if it works

I have an email verification for add ons, the was sent and took me to ad ons page. Still the sync issue
