I want to be able to view inline PDFs in the browser, and download PDFs sent as attachments, without opening them in Firefox. I've searched the forum, tried different combinations of download settings and toggling `browser.download.open_pdf_attachments_inline` but no dice, either Firefox downloads every file (inline or attached), or it opens the local file in the browser.

I respect that the PDF viewer in Firefox is great, and I want to keep using it when I choose. Right now, I have a download progress that pops up, then the browser becomes unresponsive and switches to the new tab, which is disrupting.

Seems simple but how can I have the following behaviour? - Inline PDF -> view in browser - Attachment -> download without opening in browser

How come when you add some features in firefox updates, they are not removable for me?!? I am talking about the "extensions" tab and the "list all tabs". Some people might want them for their use but I dont. I should have the option to remove them at my leisure. I dont like this at all that I cant make that decision. Please fix. Thank you.

Hi, I've used thunderbird (now 128.3.0esr)/calendar for years on my NUC7 running linux (now 22.04.5 LTS) with no problems.

Within the last couple of days, however, I no longer seem to be able to "drag-and-drop" events or tasks from one day to another. I can use the mouse to select/delete/etc an event or tasks, but I can't seem to move them with the mouse -- I need to "edit" the events. Is this a known issue?

Any help appreciated -- I haven't been able to find anything about this with web searches.

I want to change settings in Thunderbird. Vivaldi 6.9.3447.51 (Stable channel) (64-bit) Revision 182bbf0e4fdf8cd7876d2b24819fde3147f9af97 OS Windows 10 Version 22H2 (Build 19045.4894)

I tried all the other options in drop down menus all over and they all come up. But clicking on settings does nothing. I even went into account settings and tried clicking on Thunderbird Settings and it does nothing there also. Can I reinstall over the existing program without losing anything to try and see if that helps and fixes the problem?

You can help by going back to the old format. The new format makes it more time-consuming to delete unneeded messages because the screen shows only a small number of messages at a time. Also, the smaller print is less user-friendly.

Hi, I cannot upload files to any website. For example if I hit add attachment to an email which is open on Mozilla nothing happens. It's the same if I try to upload a resume or a photo for example. I can drag and drop files to upload but some websites don't have that option. I have disabled the pop up blocker and nothing changed. It was the same when I was using chrome and I transferred the data and settings over. Could someone please advise?

I have nine calendars on my TB calendar page.

Some weeks ago, seven of them stopped displaying. They each have a gray Enable button next to their name in the Calendars list, but it doesn't do anything.

How can I reenable these calendars?

You have been unable to locate the account I have been using for many years so I have just opened a new account. Can you please arrange a reset so that I can once again use Firefox as my preferred browser.

I have 2 rows of Shortcuts selected & I can see the "Shortcut Icon or Favicon", however one of them is still showing an old one for a website & I know that the site actually have a new Favicon displayed. Why am I still seeing the old one? Is there a way to refresh my page so I see the new one? Any help greatly appreciated.

I have set up Syncing on Firefox and it was simple but I can't figure out how to do it in Thunderbird. I am recovering from a PC Reset and want to ensure I do not lose anything if I have to have my Iaptop sent away to be repaired.

I spent a long time looking for an email today. I sent it earlier in the day so was looking at the latest messages with todays date. I eventually found it after srearching for the Subject. The message was threaded but the message showing was from a few days ago. That was when I noticed the little arrow. That was when all was revealed. The version of TBird I used until I Reset PC last week did not have settings like that.

Hi - Is there an updated bookmarks tutorial? just uploaded a new firefox version that seems to no longer have the recent bookmarks tab?

I'm older (and not computer savvy) and will admit that i find IE bookmarks convenient, easy to use with folders, one or two clicks, etc........ but firefox bookmarks? seems designed to be more difficult and security notwithstanding has forced me to use other browsers. Or am I just making it harder?

I would like to have different default search engines for the URL bar and the search bar. For example have a query typed in the URL bar use DuckDuckGo by default. But a query in the search bar use Google by default. I am aware that it's possible to use shortcut strings, use alt+arrows to cycle through the options, or select a different search engine from the icons. I'd like to be able to set them differently without any of that.

I am trying to re-enable sofascore notifications but in permission panel just seems cookies not notification permissions. I tried to forgot site and delete cookies but it didn't work. How can i solve this?

my fit to page is NOT a matter of zoom. No matter what size it is some of the page is off the screen. And when I try to type an e-mail there is no space showing what I am typing. The e-mail space will not expand. All this happened when I chose to make Firefox my default. before that there was no problem

I reinstalled windows 10 and this is my second laptop that microsoft seems to have locked the sound use on any other browser than microsoft edge, sound works perfectly on microsoft edge but will not work on any other browser, has anybody else had this issue, i have contacted Mozilla before but nobody answers. thankyou

After the latest update of Thunderbird (128.3.0esr) it is not possible to postpone calendar data (dates, task) via drag and drop. Is that a bug or a matter of setting? Thanks for help!
