while other engins like Google and edge are very quick, firefox has been slow and then stops on android s21. clearing all app cache and cookies makes no difference

My keyboard is stucking while searching on firefox , even after pressing enter it doesn't goes i had tried with floating keyboard it doesn't stucked, also tried with another keyboard and address bar at bottom it doesn't get worked, please solve this problem or i would shift to another browser

Recently when typing on Firefox on the duckduckgo search engine, anything you type gets doubled, and you cannot backspace. The issue doesn't occur when on Google page, only on ddg. I also tried different keyboard apps and the issue still persists. I went to the same page on Google chrome and the issue does not occur. This just started happening within the last week or so. If it matters/helps, I'm on Samsung s24 ultra.

hi, I have this odd issue lately that when I type something in the browser, search engines in particular, then hit the enter key on the on screen keyboard, and then click inside the same inputfield again that the backspace button switches behavior and no longer affects the text field but deletes the last letter from the word in the auto-correct-suggestion panel diirectly above the keyboard. clicking back into the browsers textbox doesn't help either. I have to press backspace several times until auto-correct stops suggesting new words, (turning off auto suggest doesn't fix it) then focus returns to the inputfield in the browser

I can repro it with multiple keyboard apps (microsoft & heliboard), on different search engine websites but it only happens in Firefox not in chrome nor any other Android app.

I also noticed that when I move the text cursor somewhere with a tap in this input field and then hit backspace, then it will show the context menu (copy, paste, insert...) for less than a second and instantly close it again. Pressing backspace a second time doesn't trigger it again until you move the input cursor with a tap again.

I only use uBlock but disabling it didn't help. Phone: Nothing 3

Ever since I got the 150.0, the issue is the following: when I use the AI feature or search something on the internet, the first time everything is OK. If i would search something else or reply to the AI feature, the text appears to be doubled. In example

Latest version(s) of Firefox on my Android 16 Samsung Galaxy 25 Ultra are not happy - go to open a new tab and the entire app freezes - after about 10s I get offered the option of waiting - which does nothing, the same message reappears again 10s later - or closing the app.

Have been trying to find resolution as Firefox is my browser of choice but nothing so far besides reverting to an old build of around 140 and refusing to upgrade.

Please can this be looked at as a priority - reading up I believe a number of Samsung users are experiencing problems with the newer versions all focussed around the tab system.

Links won't respond to touch , scrolling up and down is fine , all other touch functions are fine , just links and tabs etc won't respond

After opening Facebook in the firefox browser for android, I am not able to comment on any Facebook post. The keyboard is not stable. Please fix this. And when I download any big file, it fails after half the download. This process happens again and again. Please fix this. Thank you.

I am reporting two visual glitches (white bars) occurring in the Android version of Firefox.

1. White Bar Appear Numbered list items at the Top in Portrait Multi-Select Mode
   When the browser is in portrait mode and I enter the multi-select state (e.g., in the Bookmarks or Downloads management screens), a white bar appears briefly or persists at the top of the screen. This seems like a UI rendering error.
2. White Bar Appears on the Left Side in Landscape Mode
   When the phone is in landscape mode, a persistent white bar/strip is visible on the far left side of the screen. This affects the full-screen display.

I'm hoping for some help with a persistent video playback issue on Firefox for Android. I am committed to using Firefox for its privacy and its independent Gecko engine, but this performance bug is a major blocker.

The Problem: When I play videos in Firefox, the playback is very choppy and stutters, appearing as if it's running at a very low frame rate.

Crucial Testing Information:

This issue is specific to certain browsers. I have tested the exact same videos on Chrome, Vivaldi, Brave, and Ulaa, and they all play perfectly smoothly. The stuttering issue happens in Firefox (and also in Opera).

This confirms the problem is with how Firefox is rendering video on my device, not a network or hardware limitation.

Troubleshooting Roadblock:

I have already tried all the basic fixes (clearing cache, reinstalling, etc.).

I attempted to follow standard advice to troubleshoot this by accessing about:config to check the status of hardware video decoding. However, access to about:config is completely disabled in the stable version of Firefox for Android. This prevents any advanced user-side troubleshooting for performance issues like this.

Firefox Version: 143.0.4

Given that a critical troubleshooting tool is unavailable, I am reporting this directly. This seems to be a hardware acceleration incompatibility issue with my device.

When I want to buy something and my bank want to check payment I change firefox for bank app but firefox automaticaly reload the page. Same problem if I want to sign in somewhere and need pause or copy something from another app. The firefox always teload page and I have to start again. ONLY one help is divided screen. But it is not solution.
