Just noticed that Firefox only has translation for Chinese Simplified from Mainland China, but no Chinese Traditional from Hong Kong and Taiwan users. Any plans to get it going? I would hate to switch back to Chrome or Edge instead.

I've found out that you can create custom prompts for the AI sidebar with the configuration `browser.ml.chat.prompts.*`. Usually, this is done with the selection text. However, I'd like to pass the URL instead. I could use `%url%`, but that does not include parameters after `?` and hence does not work for Youtube.

Is there any variable that I can use to pass the full URL including parameters of the URL?

I updated to Firefox 141.0 and now Google Maps is not working correctly. When I look for directions the map does not show the route. If I go to street view I get a black screen. Google maps is working fine on Edge or Google on the same pc.

I have in the passed month reinstalled my Linux PC. during that process I recently my Firefox account and set my master password.

Yesterday, I re-synced Firefox.

Today I found out that my Firefox master password has been reset and anyone who could access my desktop would have complete access to any of my websites not protected by two factor authentication.

Is the master password synced?

So I have immediately reset it to the old password. as an initial step to protect my passwords locally.

I will shortly create a new random password and apply that as a new master password.

None of my website accounts appear to be compromised, yet. I have checked the ones I am most concerned about all of which have two factor authentication. I have not checked all of them by a long way.

I have several questions:

What can cause this?

What is at risk when this happens?

What should I do once I have discovered that my master password has been reset?

Should I change all the passwords of all my accounts?

If someone got access to my Firefox account could they re-sync to a different machine and have access to all my personal website data?

How can I protect against such a total disaster. At the moment the protection on this account is a password and an Authenticator App second line of defense. Although I was not asked for 2FA when logging into your support.

There always seem to be daily issues, "Mozilla Not Responding". We clear out Cookies, Cache, history, etc. throughout the day. We've had to shut it down and restart the computer. Oftentimes, the system just shuts down.

For the last few weeks, we have an unknown popup from Mozilla, "Unable to load XP.com". Not sure what this may be or why this popup suddenly started. We close it and pops up periodically several times in a day. I am attaching a screenshot of the image.

On Chrome Android, the tab group feature is super handy. You can create tab clusters, easily group similar tabs together, and switch between them fluidly. It really helps when you’re multitasking or doing research across multiple topics.

Also, the tab accessibility on Chrome Android is just better. The tab switcher is placed at the bottom of the screen, making it effortless to access all open tabs with just a thumb tap no awkward menu diving or stretching to the top.

My Questions:

1. Is there any timeline or roadmap for bringing tab group functionality to Firefox Mobile?

2. Are there any known efforts or discussions around improving the UI/UX of tab switching such as adding a bottom bar for easier access, similar to Chrome’s approach?

I get an error message when updating "failed to check for updates". I think I've been stuck on version 128.11 64-bit for several weeks now. This is on a PC with Windows 11 Pro.

Whenever I try to log into my Eset Password Manager it says unable to log in offline. Yet Eset password manager works on other browsers. I have refresh the browser and removed and re add the Eset extension.

I am using a new Windows 11 computer. I use Firefox for almost everything. But it opens many processes and it very quickly gets to the point where anything I do causes a hang. If I am listening to music or a podcast it pauses and buzzes. This AM I turned on the computer and opened Firefox, without reopening an old session. I had open two windows with two tabs in each window. Using Windows Task Manager I determined that Firefox has twenty-one processes open. Some of them have the efficiency leaf and some do not. I do not use an Add-On manager, but use MalWareBytes for a VPN and protection. Please help.

I'm trying to write a date (specifically tomorrow's) in a PDF. Whenever I enter it, I get this error message telling me to use the wrong date format. Why does my browser have the authority to override my decisions in this way?

I have a fresh installation of xubuntu 24.04, with firefox 135.0. Middle clicking on links now does nothing, whereas earlier it opened the link in a new tab. browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick is set to true.

I have an account at the EU webgate portal and when I try to open the login screen I get a blank screen, when I try to open it from Firefox on OpenIndiana. Of course, there is no problem when I try to open this page when using Firefox in Windows or Android. The interesting thing is that when I enter the following words to google search

I have spent the last two hours trying to get my Bookmarks amd history back. I am exhausted and very worried. Firsty I tried going through the Menu, but there is no list of backups there. and there is no history, either!

Then I tried looking in about:profiles - I only have three:

oi853qa9.default, 7sh8b0ii.default-release, and d41afk6n.default-release-1. Only the first one of these contains any bookmark files.

Ideally, I would like to restore the most recent of these, or the second most recent, if the newest one is corrupted in some way. However I cannot find a way to do that from the information I have seen tonight. I hope you will be able to help me out,

My Mozilla Firefox bookmarks are Bookmarks 2025-07-22.JSON. They worked well on my older Dell computer. I bought a new Dell desktop computer. I am disgusted with Google. My bookmarks on my C Drive. If you can't help me reload those bookmarks, I may as well decide to delete Firefox and use another such as Total Browser. I certainly hope you will help me load 2025-07-22.JSON on my new computer - it is ridiculous that Firefox wants to put in the full address on the C Drive instead of simply loading those. On Firefox on my last computer I used News which was bookmarked Daily Wire, Epoch Times, Salem News Channel, God's World News, One America News, Washington Times, New York Sun, and local Sterling Virginia Weather. I also use biography sites https://www.Worldhistory.org and Britannica.com [both of which I pay for monthly, as https://www.wikipedia.org/.
