Firefox quit opening a new tab when I open a new tab. This overwrites the page I was on. I have to open the history to try and find where I was. This is very frustrating and a waste of time. It stated recently.

How do l get rid of yahoo which has taken over my laptop after trying to get flight tracking last week? I have always hated it and it is stopping me searching with Firefox. I am old & not too tech savvy.

I am trying to login to my healthcare website and it will not login if the cookies from the previous login are present. Workaround is to delete the site's cookies from Settings-> Privacy and Security-> Clear data for Specific Sites. I have tried Settings-> Privacy and Security->Manage exceptions->Block but it does not work. The cookies are allowed and they again prevent Login.

I am trying to log into a remote HikVision camera. I get to see the camera controls, but a small yellow line appears in the middle of the screen. After that I am unable to see or do anything.

What happened to ChatGBT as an available tab on pages in Firefox? It was available on any page I selected and it disappeared in last 5 days. Who makes these changes? How can I be the only one who noticed?

I recently had an issue where I accidentally closed Firefox in such a manner that it did not save my Tab Groups... Should that be possible?

I am trying to recall the steps to cause this to happen. At the time I had two Firefox windows open: one with all of my usual tabs, and one with a single tab open. I believe the steps were as follows...

1. Closed Firefox window with all of my usual tabs open
2. Closed Firefox window with the one tab open
3. Opened Firefox, and the session with one tab open came up
4. Closed that session
5. Opened Firefox again, one tab open
6. Checked the 'List all Tabs' - Recent tab groups, Show All - This was blank

I assumed that Tab Groups would survive sessions being closed like that like how Bookmarks do, am I wrong in that?

Just since last few days, Firefox seems to think that I'm in NL, but I'm in UK. This doesn't happen in Chrome or Edge. My IP is also in UK. I'm not using a proxy or VPN. Suggestions to fix please.

As of Aug 23rd, Firefox no longer connects to the internet (not site-specific) with this message: Unable to Connect. All other browsers work with fast loads. FF has been incredibly slow loading pages for weeks now but it would eventually connect until today. It is not a network/firewall issue as I've checked to make sure all was set correctly. I have cleared cache, turned VPN off, refreshed app, uninstalled/reinstalled and nothing has changed.

If I find the same tomorrow, I will just have to stop using altogether and choose another default browser as there is no point in a browser that is slow and unreliable. It's a shame since I've been using FF for many, many years.

The Address / Profile Autofill (full-form, 1-click filling) all of a sudden stopped working a few days ago. Only single-form works. I have to go to each box on a form individually and click on it to have the info fill in (Never had to do that before). And the "History" icon is showing to the left side of every info of mine that i click on to fill in (Never seen that before). Everything in the settings is still the same, nothing on my end has changed. It's set to automatically fill in my Name, Address, E-mail, Phone Number in 1-click, like it has THOUSANDS OF TIMES BEFORE. All my info is showing in settings, but not on any forms on any websites. The same websites i've been using all along, that filled in ALL my info with 1 click, all of a sudden went to single individual form last week. I asked AI what the problem could be. It gave me a few suggestions and fixes. Tried all of them, made no difference. All the settings it had me check were correct. HELP! (Thank you)

I'm experiencing continuous screen blackouts or glitches. These are unaffected by the site I'm on and only occur for Firefox browser. When I switch a tab or click a button the browser blacks out and becomes unresponsive then comes back on after a few seconds. This happens repeatedly. Clearing the cache, running a repair, and uninstalling / reinstalling the app have had no affect on it.

When opening our browser this morning all of our bookmarks appear to be locked behind some kind of security, it is incredibly frustrating. We have an account recovery key, that we got when we tried to open some bookmarks, but we have no idea how to use it, we are already signed in.

We can access the bookmarks on our phone, so the disconnect is in the browser somewhere. Is there anything we can do to recover access? Do we need to use the recovery key? If so, how?

I use Firefox to watch several of my live news programs on their web sites. Recently I am finding that the volume control does not allow access to actual control (it is on or off choices) without going to full screen. And tried a couple on edge. What is going on? Is this a choice of the providers to not allow control? A recent change in YOUR end?
