I'm using the latest version of Firefox on macOS Tahoe. Over the past 2–3 days, Firefox has started behaving unexpectedly.

Issues:

   Firefox automatically creates additional Dock icons while I'm only using a single Firefox window. Even if I remove the extra icon, it reappears after some time.

   When I open a different Firefox profile, it launches under a new Dock icon instead of using the existing Firefox icon. As a result, I end up with three separate Firefox Dock icons simultaneously.

   Firefox also fails to play pronunciation audio on some dictionary websites (e.g., JapanDict). Clicking the speaker icon produces only a brief click with no spoken audio. The same pronunciation works correctly in Safari, suggesting a Firefox-specific issue.

Expected behavior:

   Firefox should use a single Dock icon (unless intentionally running separate app instances).

   Different profiles should not create unexpected duplicate Dock icons.

   Pronunciation audio should play normally, as it does in Safari.

Environment:

   macOS Tahoe (latest version)

   Firefox (latest version)

www.blu-ray.com not opening. i tried all ways like uninstall, re-install but still it's not opening. but in chrome and ms edge it's working properly. i tried troubleshoot mode, clear data but still it's not working. it's happening in these few days ago

I tried several times to dismiss the amazon icon from my home screen but it won't dismiss. When I click on it, it tries to behave like a browser to search amazon and my password is not working now.

Every time I select Gmail on Firefox page, it requires me to sign in with a code. I have selected 'Strict' for browser privacy and 'Clear history after closing Firefox'... plus a number of other settings. I then get a notice of someone signing into my account each time, as does the person who I use as a backup to my account. I'd like not to go through that each time I access my Gmail account.

So, similar to this post but I haven't downgraded, only upgraded.

OS: Windows 11 (26100.8893) Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:153.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/153.0

I can load it up in the morning, load all my standard tabs, then not too long into it a tab will 'crash' and require a reload. The reload then says its a dramatic crash and the whole browser needs to restart. Soft or Hard (i.e. "Exit") restarts always then ask to create a new profile on startup. This means I lose so much configuration (settings, etc) that is not in the Account Sync, meaning huge amounts of time have been wasted setting Firefox back up again every day.

When I go to about:profiles I can see all the old and new profiles (recently cleaned up all the old ones).

I do use my FF Account across various versions of Firefox (run a linux OS that still has a 14x version - need to upgrade OS to get more recent, but its a significant upgrade that had previously failed so not high on my 'want to resolve' list) - all the Windows OS's have the latest FF.

I was trying to install a minecraft modpack about 2 days ago using curseforge, but now randomly when my browser is open this pop-up will appear even though i havent visited curseforge since then

I am using Firefox on a LLinux Mint 22.3 - MATE 64-bit operating system.

Recently, I went to www.homedepot.com. The page did not fully load. It just kept trying to load the page. I waited for a few minutes and tried to do a search for an item I wanted. I got a message that indicated: "OOPs! some went wrong. Try refreshing the page."

I tried refreshing the page. I got the same situation. The page would only partially load and each time I did a search, I got the same "Opps!" message.

So, I went into setup and deleted my cache. This did not help. I also uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it. That still did not help.

I started up Google Chrome. I went to the site and it worked just fine. So there is something wrong with Firefox.

So I know these websites are kind of crap anyway, but I have issues with scrolling bsky.social (and other clients for it like witchsky) and twitter. The further into the timeline I get, the more frequently these webpages lag.

They begin freezing every few seconds for a few seconds, during which they queue left or right clicks, page up/page down, and various other commands, only processing them once it unfreezes. Firefox itself still works during this freeze, e.g. opening the main menu. Also, I can still scroll up or down to a limited degree, though this just exposes empty, unrendered webpage until it unfreezes.

bsky.social has had this problem for a long time, but twitter only recently developed this issue after I had to do a cache clear, cookie clear, etc. trying to log in a few weeks ago. Prior to that it didn't have this issue.

Task manager hasn't really helped elucidate what's wrong, so it might be an about:config that I set or even an unruly extension, but I really don't know what to try.

Firefox using the changeable drop-down menu of search providers, hides page URLs. I use them all the time to link out to others, etc. Can this behavior be toggled on/off?

Whenever I have to restart my cpu, the menu bar appears to try to open all of the tabs and it causes system hangups and says that Mozilla Firefox is not responding. What causes this ??

What can I do to see these blocked items? This happens to everything I click on. Pictures or articles on clothing, political issues, absolutely every thing that has an option to check to see more. This is rather recently happening. I'm wondering if Yahoo has done something since their "New" but not better version of email.

For some reason I can not understand the search bar in my toolbar has become so small that it is borderline unusable. No amount of removing and replacing it, fiddling with empty spaces, etc. has any effect on it. Furthermore it appears completely normal sized when I'm editing the toolbar. Does anyone have any clue what causes this?

As of about last Thursday, I have been unable to access my Isomedia.com SpamTitan01 account. I usually have a trove of spam messages, which I look at and delete, except for the one or two that are real emails. For the last 5 days My Titan vault is empty, though it is trying to retrieve data. My address is [redacted] @pioneernet.net Could it be that a Firefox update is preventing me from access?

In Firefox, the close button is only partially clickable and is not accessible on the right side. However, when I hover over it, a square background appears around the button. Could you please take a look?
