My Bookmarks (> 100) suddenly became corrupted yesterday while I was browsing. They don't go to anything that they are supposed to. There is no backup profile listed to recover. What do i do short of manually typing in all those bookmarks? Windows 11, No edge but I can use Chrome

I have webpage (Home Assistant instance) on my local network on which I would like to use microphone (for Assistant functionality). Page is completely local, i.e. not visible from Internet. My issue is I can't force Firefox to allow microphone access on this page. I've tried messing with media.devices.insecure.enabled config, but it didn't help. Is there any way to add such page to some whitelist to allow microphone access? From what I gathered Chromium-based browser provides "--unsafely-treat-insecure-origin-as-secure=..." option but I didn't find anything similar for Firefox. I know I could expose my server to outside network and get SSL certificate (from Lets Encrypt) to make it work, but exposing server to Internet just to get local microphone access somehow doesn't feel like a more secure solution. I could probably also issue self-singed certificate but dealing with that also seems at least annoying.

For a few weeks now, sent emails have not been appearing in the "Sent" folder. The recipient receives the email, but I have no confirmation in "Sent" that it was actually sent. It was never a problem.

Each time I open TBird, I get a message at the bottom left of the screen telling me that TBird has deleted X number of messages. I do not want TBird to ever delete any messages. How do I turn this automatic delete function off?

Hello, For about two or three days now, when I launch Firefox and try to open any website, it takes maybe one minute to load the page, then the navigation is OK on every website.

It only happens when I launch Firefox for the first time of my session. If I close it then relaunch it, it's still very swift.

I tried clear cache and remove cookies, just lost my logins lol but didn't work. I also tried with no extensions, nothing changed. Lastly I tried to set "network.captive-portal-service.enabled" to "false" in "about:config" but it didn't change anything neither.

So before I try anything else that could erase something on my profile, I'd rather ask here for some help :)

PS: running FF 153.0.4 on Debian Trixie with Mozilla repos. Only have two extensions: µblockOrigin and NoScript.

For whatever reason when on the front page of YouTube, this magenta border will flash on and off around the top header as well as the button elements, I have no idea if this is Firefox or yt, but I've tried everything, on YouTube, I've tried fixing it in troubleshooting, code, accessibility, restarting browser and computer, randomly removing extensions. Nothing is stopping it. It briefly tried doing it on a different site but stopped on it's own, it's only effecting YouTube and Firefox

Attached is a picture of what my account settings looks like. Thunderbird stopped syncing my emails from a gmail account. How do I get it to continue syncing my emails?

You can block types of contact you follow on the tab content page but you cannot block specific sources of that content. For example, I don't want to see any content from NBC, so how can I block that source?

after the new version of firefox update my home page which i have always had Newsmax.com does not load says problem loading page i have tried several times and it will not load. it works in Google chrome so why not in Firefox

I have used Thunderbird for years with complete success. Recently (within the past month) I have lost the ability to send (SMTP) mail and receive the following error message: "Send Message Error, Sending of the message failed. Unable to authenticate to Outgoing server (SMTP). Please check the password and verify the 'Authentication method' in 'Account Settings | Outgoing server (SMTP)." [I just change my from address to another one going through Network Solutions and the mail sends just fine.]

Everything seems to be in order when checking my settings. I finally called Yahoo and spent an hour on the phone with them, including a supervisor (in the background) and they were unable to correct the situation. Yes, since I had called them from their tech support line (I looked it up; did not call anything sent to me) and they worked on my computer trying to fix it. They finally said it was a Thunderbird issue and said I needed to contact Thunderbird.

I am able to send from my phone (Android) using the same cox.net e-mail address. My wife is able to send from her computer using her cox.net via Thunderbird. My wife's incoming mail is IMAP while mine are all POP.

I happen to have several cox.net accounts and get the same SMTP error on all. However, all receive POP mail just fine, but see the next paragraph.

[As an aside (?), I should note that after Yahoo attempted to "fix" the problem, ALL my incoming cox.net mail comes into ALL of my cox.net accounts regardless of which one is addressed.]

I don't even know where to start at this point. Thanks for any help.

Hello, I’d recently bought 2 new Macs, (for different purposes), as well as preserving my account in my iOS Devices, Since i couldn’t remember my password, (and I’m no longer making music), I’ve changed several settings in my account (but JUST on one of the 2 Macs, and not on the iPhone, either), I was successful in making those changes (for that one Mac), now I must do the same with my other Devicesm they’re both MacOS (Tahoe), and iOS 26, iPad (there are 2 iPads). I’m not a Business, I’ve simply been trying to separate my Studying of a Language, and Classical Indian Literature, i.e.: Vedanta; from my other Mac, on what I’m calling “Secular”, I try not to mix both devices… Do I make sense to you? Essentially, my Firefox/Mozilla account is totally messed up, and not synching.

J'ai quitté l'application, redémarré mon MacBook et rien n'y change. Quand je vais sur le webmail j'ai bien la totalité de mes mails. Par contre j'avais un dossier local et du coup je n'y ai plus accès non plus

Yesterday morning when I pulled up my firefox browser all my bookmarks had disappeared from the bar, from the list and from my home page. I have tried to re-add the bookmarks and it will not save them. Please help!
