Please fix the autofill feature to allow preferred password managers to work in the app! It's infuriating when developers don't bother to follow the guidelines and do as they please or purposely try and doge the guardrails. Please follow the native Credential Manager integration guidelines.

On my new dell laptop, Firefox seems to run well. however, when I select one of my regular bookmarks from the dropdown, it ignores the choice and chooses a link (e.g. a news story) from the page I'm currently on, one directly under the bookmark I've chosen. If I choose the bookmark link again it operates correctly.

Sometimes, for seemingly no reason, Firefox will force two tabs to combine. I do not want this. Ever. And I am sick and tired of it constantly appearing. It is extremely distracting and I want to disable it but can't find a way to turn it off. How do I turn it off?

i have said many times that i keep getting Firefox running but not responding . i have contacted many places and complained had some of your r tech try and help now with the new update i am still getting it yet i was told it would be fixed. i have reinstalled i have removed and shut off some add ons cleared cache all but cookies and still i get it funny until the last 2 new versions i never had this problem it is a Firefox problem not mine. i would have thought you would have fixed it by now

I've googled "how to make Zimbra my default email on the Firefox browser. It said to hit the 3 bars on the upper right, then Settings, then General, then Applications. There is no General category. Please help me change the default email. Thank you.

I have two Tbird accounts pmcreativeservices@rcn.com has been mine for 20 years, and it's what I use for bills, banking, etc. The other account is PatriciaRosemoor@rcn.com and is only used to collect messages that come from my author website. Yesterday, I got a message from someone who tried but couldn't put a book up at Amazon and asked if there was something I could do about it. My trying to send her a message via the PatriciaRosemoor account is what started requests for my Primary Password. One a minute after I cancelled the last one. I tried the two passwords I knew I had, but neither worked. I got a request for a new password so I did that and it didn't work either. I kept going back to it all day yesterday uselessly. I found directions of what to do online, but it didn't match up with my Settings information. Please, if you can tell me how to fix this, I would be grateful. Or, if I can keep the thousands of emails I probably have, I could try deleting the account and recreating the account. The problem would be how to bring all my saved emails back. I installed Thunderbird on my new laptop, then imported the profile from my old laptop

The main screen has, under "Inbox", folders for Drafts, Sent, Trash, Archive and Spam, which are being used by the program

Folders for Drafts, Sent and Trash also appear under "Local Folders" (along with Outbox) and these aren't being used by the program.

How do I get rid of these duplicate folders? "Spam" had a delete option, so that was easy, but the others don't.

I tried the two suggestions for a previous "Duplicates" question but they didn't resolve things.

Here is the message I get. Very inconvenient... Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Too many recipients. Please reduce the number of recipients and try again. AUP#Out-1550. Please check the message recipient "........" and try again.

Firefox uses firefox icon instead of website icon. Can change it thru properties/change icon but every time i make a shortcut i have to change it if i want the right one.

I’m trying to understand Firefox’s settings better, especially the options that can affect browsing performance, privacy, and website compatibility.

I would like to understand which settings are generally recommended for everyday use and which advanced settings should only be changed when there is a specific reason to do so.

I’m particularly interested in learning how settings related to privacy, cookies, tracking protection, permissions, and performance can affect the way websites work.

For example, can changing these settings cause certain websites to load incorrectly, become slower, or behave differently? If so, what is the best way to identify which setting is responsible?

I would appreciate some guidance on which Firefox settings are safe for a normal user to customize and which ones are better left at their default values.

Using the latest Firefox update with Windows 10. I've got three popups in the lower right corner of my screen (see uploaded image), and each refreshes periodically with a musical phrase that sounds like a smartphone notification. Though each says "Mozilla Firefox" in the upper left hand corner, the popups are present whether the browser is open or not. All three say, "via da75iiinaffc73ar8f20.yird-protect.pro".

I've already gone to Settings, cleared my History, made the recommended changes in Permissions and Data, and closed and reopened the browser. The popups remain.

What are the memory limits for Thunderbird. Currently, I get this message when I try to save and email "Unable to save your message to local folders. Possibly out of local file storage space." Please see attached screenshot.

I am not out of storage space.

Any suggestions?

I want to copy my calendar from my Mac whrwe I use Week Calendar into Thunderbird Calendar, but I have not got it to work there. I read somewhere that Thunderbird art developing the calendar. Will it work now??

On Firefox on Android, I would like to access Gemini similarly to the way I currently access Perplexity via the search engine drop down menu. How do you set that up?
