Version 153 brought account colors to the desktop app.

Is there any smoother way to transfer just these settings, no more, no less, to other machines, other than copying the whole profile? I'm using TB on 3 different pc's, of which one has a special profile.

Right now I made screenshots of all 7 accounts + color. I can do it by hand but that's rather cumbersome.

I'm using the latest version of Firefox on macOS Tahoe. Over the past 2–3 days, Firefox has started behaving unexpectedly.

Issues:

   Firefox automatically creates additional Dock icons while I'm only using a single Firefox window. Even if I remove the extra icon, it reappears after some time.

   When I open a different Firefox profile, it launches under a new Dock icon instead of using the existing Firefox icon. As a result, I end up with three separate Firefox Dock icons simultaneously.

   Firefox also fails to play pronunciation audio on some dictionary websites (e.g., JapanDict). Clicking the speaker icon produces only a brief click with no spoken audio. The same pronunciation works correctly in Safari, suggesting a Firefox-specific issue.

Expected behavior:

   Firefox should use a single Dock icon (unless intentionally running separate app instances).

   Different profiles should not create unexpected duplicate Dock icons.

   Pronunciation audio should play normally, as it does in Safari.

Environment:

   macOS Tahoe (latest version)

   Firefox (latest version)

Addressing the problem, Practice Better says my acct is not blocked on their end. They say put

notifications@practicebetter.io in a safe senders list, but I can't find anything like that. How could I get my Thunderbird email acct to accept Practice Better's messages?

Is there a way to change the default font color for replies in Thunderbird? Nothing I do works, and it is a real pain to have to manually change the color every time I reply to an email.

I'm running the latest version of Thunderbird 140.12.1esr on 15.7.7 (24G720) on an M1 processor.

I'm witnessing Memory leak > Thunderbird who usually use 800MB jumps to Gb up to 60Gb

It makes this version unusable.

Pop up notification for an outdated profile/version of firefox when firefox was closed which made the game tab out and I couldn't move until I was able to tab back in. How do I get rid of this and keep my current profile and get it up to date so that I can use the same profile?

I had several windows opened and when I LOGGED OFF FIREFOX AND REOPENED IT ALL OF THE WINDOWS I had visited were gone, I tried to reopen FIREFOX and there was nothing I could do to reopen the windows.

Is all of my data gone?

So far I HATE you in my first hour on Firefox!!!!. I'm 80yo ill-disabled on a CloudMobile Android C8 phone & find your account set-up process too overwhelming arduous & unfriendly, I never got my secondary email submitted!!!!. I've never even used the Firefox browser YET!!!!! AND NOW I Already HATE IT!!!! Every time I tried to enter my new 5-minutes Mozilla account code, the Firefox code page was gone on my stupid Android phone! I keep getting alert notices on my phone from thunderbird. It started when i was going to add thunderbird to one of my other devices. But i changed my mind and deleted it on that device.

I had to reinstall Windows 11 on my PC as the old copy was corrupt to the point I could not install updates, even with Microsoft's help. Before I made the plunge, I used Tools -> Export to create a zip file on my D:. After installing Thuderbird on the rebuilt copy, I went to Tools -> Import to recover everything.

I have an image copy of my old installation. Can I simply locate the Thunderbird profile on the backup and restore it?

Hi all,

Sometimes Firefox just closes a couple dozens tabs - I keep around 200 or 300 open - without my request or confirmation. It's not frequent, but quite annoying. Clicking History > Recently closed tabs > Reopen all tabs does not restore all. I don't know where I can find references for the lost tabs or Firefox logs where I could check what happened. My only suspicion is that I inadvertently rest my hand or finger somewhere in my notebook's trackpad, and somehow Firefox understand that as a request to close several tabs at once, but I have no clue if that makes any sense. I didn't test in Safe Mode because this happens too unfrequently for me to tell if Safe Mode avoids the problem.

Could you pls help me finding the reason for that? Does Firefox keep any kind of log I can check? Are there any keboard shortcuts or mouse/trackpad action that can be set up to do this?

Thunderbird just updated and the next time I opened it all of the folders I created and the emails I'm storing within them are missing. I found my profile as directed. I'm not sure if I have a backup of it. I've included the screenshot as you ask for. I know that those folders and emails are there as I was playing around with the the 3 lines > View and when I moved between the different choices I saw my folders/emails are all in there.

Any assistance you can provide is appreciated!
