If you get a BSOD then make sure that all system drivers (e.g. graphics display and mose) are up to date including your security software (firewall, anti-virus).

Does it mention any program or DLL as the cause of that BSOD?

• Control Panel > System > Advanced > Startup and Recovery > Settings : untick "Automatically restart"

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

You can use the Autoruns utility to see which programs and services are started.

hello, there seems to be a nvidia driver involved in the crash. please try to upgrade your graphics driver or try disabling hardware acceleration in firefox > options > advanced > general.

thanks. The deactivation of the hardware acceleration did the trick. the problem seems to be solved as the laptop kept working for 2 days now without blue screen.
