Top half of some fonts get truncated when printing
I am trying to help my local library. When they print labels from a library consortium website, the top half of certain fonts get cut off. This only happens in Firefox. They are using Version 52 on Win10. The font prints correctly when printing from IE or Chrome on same PC. Their default browser is Firefox.

Since there is no imminent fix for the viewer, I can only suggest some...
Possible Workarounds
(1) For PDFs that require pixel-perfect output, click the download button on the built-in PDF Viewer's toolbar, and open the PDF in your preferred stand-alone PDF software. Setup time: 0; Hassle factor: moderate (manual action). Illustration attached.
(2) Change Firefox from displaying PDFs in the built-in viewer to displaying them in your stand-alone Adobe Reader/Acrobat/Etc. program. Setup time: 1 min; Hassle factor: low. (PDFs may take longer to load if your PDF reader needs to start, but should render faster.)

(3) Switch to a version of Firefox that can run the Adobe Acrobat plugin in a Firefox tab. Setup time: 5 minutes. Here are the details:
The regular release of Firefox 52+ only allows one plugin, which is Flash. The Extended Support Release (ESR) of Firefox 52 will still run Adobe Acrobat and other old plugins. ESR was first developed to meet the needs of large organizations that wanted Firefox to change much more slowly, but anyone can run it. It gets security updates but no feature changes for about a year at a time.

Windows Users: When you get to <a href="https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/organizations/all/" target="_self" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">the ESR installer list</a>, you'll notice two or three different downloads for Windows:
- Windows installer is the standard version for Windows that runs on both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows Vista through 10 (and 32-bit XP)
- Windows 64-bit installer ONLY runs the Flash and Silverlight plugins, so that is not what you're looking for.
Hopefully one of those workarounds will work for the library until someone figures out what's going wrong with the viewer.
If the labels are HTML-based rather than PDF-based, there could be a different issue but it might be hard for you to diagnose without hands on.

I will check with the library. Picture in your pdf showed exactly what is happening. Thank you so much!!!!
