Try to follow these steps: Remove dosearches.com from Firefox configuration file.

 1. In the Firefox type this command in the address bar “about:config” and then hit enter to open this page
  2. After that you will get a page which is asking for permission to open config page that confirm that please use it carefully so please click on button named as “I’ll be carefully, I promise“.
  3. Now you will a configuration page with search option on the top, so please type “dosearches.com” into search bar, you will get the result.
4.Replace all the string from “Dosearch” to “google”
5..In the search result do double click on the all entries (related to dosearches.com) one by one, and change them to “google.com”
You can Right click on found results one by one and choose RESET option.

If the problem remains probably is a virus/malware You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Make sure you got no adware plugins and programs on your PC. Typically, it is the cause for such problems. Scan with adwcleaner, spyhunter or other programs. Dosearch is associated with such malicious programs and might be reinstalled. Another possible issue is hijacking Firefox shortcut. Right-click on FF shortcut, choose properties and see if there is no mention of dosearches.

Basically, to remove dosearches.com automatically you may simply run AdwCleaner program (which is a free application). This is not a malware cleaner but rather an adware cleaner, and it should help you get rid of htis hijacker at no cost. Alternatively, you may try this guide on removing browser hijackers manually, but this might not be as best idea as automatic removal with the help of AdwCleaner. The manual guide is http://www.system-tips.net/guide-to-fix-browser-redirection-and-remove-browser-hijackers/
