Blank Grey window with "Window ID Main Window" after copying profile after Windows Refresh.

I'm running Windows 10. Firefox was being very laggy so I did a Firefox refresh but that didn't solve the laggy problem so I did a Windows 10 Refresh.

After the Refresh I reinstalled the latest version of Firefox and copied the old profile folder (which was also on the latest Firefox version) to the new profile folder. The first start worked fine but if I restart Firefox I get a blank grey window with the words "Window ID Main Window". If I do a safe mode start of Firefox it works fine but I don't have access to my extensions.

What can I do to check?
