When you reminded me about CardBook, I had not installed it, as I was originally trying to import CSV files and did not think I needed it. Upon using it yesterday, I found it will not import Outlook 2010 vcard files because they are at an older, unsupported version. I have found a free utility to convert the vcards to version 3.0 and am still testing it.

I was also wrong about the version of TB I installed. I do have the 32-bit. I had assumed it was 64 since TB was supported by Mozilla. I figured it would be 64 by now.

Finally, I also have a suggestion to importing vcards. If you have individual cards, you can merge them into one by throwing them into a dedicated folder and running the following command.

"copy *.vcf filename.vcp"

within the folder they are located. Then you can just import them all at once.

Keep in mind that TB's built-in routines only support vCard 2.0, while MoreFunctionsForAddressBook supports vCard 2.0 and 3.0, and can import multiple cards in one step.

I was able to imports multiples in a card just fine in CardBook. I will check out MoreFunctionsForAddressBook but CardBook only support vcard 3 and 4.

The process was long, arduous, and a pain, but it was possible. This may not be everyone's experience but I have hundreds of contacts and group them into several Address Books for better organization. I resolved this by doing the following: 1. Export each contact from an Outlook Address Book as an individual VCF file, while saving the files into folders that act as categories. 2. Perform the following in each folder. Copy all VCF files into one, using the Windows command shell command "copy *.vcf <filename>.vcp". 3. Create new, blank address books in TB. 3. Import the newly created VCF files from the copy command into the respective TB address books, using the "morefunctionsforAB" add-on. 4. Refine the contacts by editing. 5. Import the TB address books into the "CardBook" add-on. 6. Export the CardBook address books into new 4.0 VCF files, as backup.
