I am running Firefox ESR v52.8.0 on XP. I have become unable to obtain a comodo email certificate. I get a message that my borwser did not send a request when I complete the application form at https://secure.instantssl.com/products/frontpage?area=SecureEmailCertificate.

Has the some function in Firefox essential to the process of requesting, downloading or installing email certificates been turned off? Or how may I fix this?
