Microsoft Print to PDF, file not created, no error message

Has just installed Firefox on a new PC (Windows 10). When using the option Microsoft Print to PDF to print any web page, everything looks normal, but no file is created. Troubleshooting information displays among failures 

     CP+[GFX1-]: ClientLayerManager::BeginTransaction with IPC channel down. GPU process may have died.

Any idea how to solve this problem? By the way, Microsoft Print to PDF works for Microsoft Edge.
