I'm using 2019 MacBook Pro 16" with OS Tahoe 26.5.1. When I click on "Print using system dialogue box" it takes me to the Mac print dialogue box as expected. When I select the option to open the page as a PDF in the Preview app, it sends it to my default printer to print instead. Very strange behavior. It only started doing this in the past week after installing the latest Firefox update (152.0 (64-bit)). I haven't downloaded any new programs and it happened well after the last OS update. I've reset my printer settings in Firefox, I've tried repeating it in "Troubleshoot Mode." No luck. The error doesn't happen in other applications like Mail App or Safari. Thank you for any insight or fix you can think of.

I selected SETTING for this question, from the dropdown menu "Which topic best describes your question?" because none of the selections are relevant for my question" which is about printing all "articles" on a yahoo news page such as:

If I simplify the printing I only get the first "article" on the page which, in the example I gave above is headlined with:

"'I'm the boss', Trump says at G7, as he warms to Ukraine's war aims"

If you page down you'll find the second "article" headlined:

"Trump says Iran deal averted 'economic catastrophe' but says he could still restart war"

If I specify simplify when printing the page, only the first article is printed.

Is there a way to print all of the articles using simplify?

UPDATE: I tried selecting reader mode but only the first article shows in browser window and prints.

I have always, for 15+ years, been able to use the system Print dialog box to create a PDF.

But as of updating Firefox to version 152.0 (aarch64), all buttons related to Saving a PDF, etc. send the document straight to the Printer to print a hard copy. There no longer appears to be any way to save a PDF.

Example scenario: 1.) Visit website 2.) Select Print (cmd-P, File > Print) and open the 1st print dialog box 3.) Select "Print using the system dialog..." 4.) Select PDF in the 2nd dialog box. 5.) You used to be able to save the PDF at this stage, opening Finder, naming the file, and choose the Save DIR. However, as of this latest update, even after the Finder File Name dialog box, hitting Save at that stage sends it to the printer to print a hard copy.

Pressing PDF, Save as PDF, Open in Preview, and Save as Adobe PDF all send the file directly to the Printer to save it.

I've got tons of receipts and things to save for work in PDF and FF was always great at this. What happened? Is this a feature or a bug? Any and all advice is welcomed.

Since the Firefox Developer Edition update 152.0beta, saving as a PDF via the print menu no longer works. Although the “Save as PDF” option is available and selected by me, the job is always sent to the laser printer (which is not supposed to print it, of course). This happens on every conceivable website, so the website itself is not the cause. (Platform: macOS Tahoe 26.5.1)

For years, generating PDFs via the print menu has worked flawlessly with FF—now I’m forced to take a detour via Safari, for example—which works correctly in the long run—but isn’t my preferred solution. I don’t think you need different browsers just to use “normal” functions. So who has recently tinkered with this FF feature?

Since I can’t find the relevant setting in the FF preferences—and a “search” on this topic has been unsuccessful—I’d like to know if there’s a solution?

I am on Firefox 152.0 (64-bit).

When I view a pdf in Firefox it looks centered like a normal page.

When I send it to print from there, it left justify the pages. I have tried changing the Scale, Margins. The paper size is Letter 8.5" x 11". I have 2 different Canon printers (laserjet and inkjet) and no difference.

If I download it and open it with Microsoft Edge and send it to print, it prints centered like a normal page.

I have tried to search articles on this topic. They were all very old. Some says to make changes in about:config in the address line. I tried a couple. Yet no difference.

I recently started to have a printing problem in Firefox on Windows 11. My Brother DCP-T720DW works fine with other applications like Word and Notepad, but when I try to print from Firefox, sometimes I get a "Printer not available" message or the print dialog incorrectly shows the printer. For troubleshooting, I uninstalled and then reinstalled the printer driver following the official Brother download page: https://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadtop.aspx?c=us_ot&lang=en&prod=dcpt720dw_all Since that didn't fix the issue, I also downloaded and reinstalled the driver from: https://printerdrivers.com/brother-dcp-t720dw-driver/ Windows detects the printer and is able to print test pages, so it looks like the problem is only with Firefox. Has anyone else had the same issue in which Firefox refuses to detect a printer that works correctly in other applications? Is there a print setting or preference in Firefox that might cause this? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I can't find any way to make the settings so that the label prints correctly across the entire sheet. I tried all the settings, nothing helped. Everything prints fine in Google Chrome.

I sell on vinted, which generates a PDF label to print. Some of the courier sites add a lot of nonsense text to their labels, which I cover up with a white box to save ink. These edited PDFs used to then print just the label without the nonsense text, but since a recent Firefox update they have started printing an empty page instead. Saving the edited PDF and then opening it again in Firefox does not work. The edited labels still print okay in Microsoft Edge.

I'm using a Mac Mini M2 Pro with Tahoe 26.5. I have two printers, the Samsung laser printer is listed twice but only the fax printer of my Epson ET4850 is listed. I can't find a way either to adda missing printer, or to edit the list. I've reset the printer settings using about:support to no avail.

Can't "Save as PDF" on Mac with Firefox Developer since upgrading to OS 26.5 on 5/22/26. It has worked perfectly until yesterday. Previously, just saving to pdf didn't download backgrounds. But clicking on "Print using the system dialog" and then "Save as PDF" would download backgrounds. I have restarted my computer, removed and reinstalled my printer, but "Save as PDF" still isn't saving, only sending to printer. I was just able to "Save as PDF" on another browser. I am hoping I don't have to switch default browsers from Firefox Developer. Others I know are having the same issue using Nightly, but I was not able to find anyone having this issue on the internet.

I use Firefox with online shipping and sales using a laptop. So far I've printed shipping labels through my computer to my printer but plan on purchasing a thermal shipping label printer. I can't find one that says it supports Firefox only Windows, Chrome, & Linux. I'm looking for suggestions. Thanks

When using other browsers I can highlight an article or portion of an article and then right click and have access to the "Print" function or "Copy" function. I've tried that several times with Mozilla but don't get that option upon right clicking my mouse. How do I print or copy an article?

I use Firefox as my Browser. I have read about and activated, I think, VPN. When I receive emails with Adobe Acrobat documents attached, I cannot print the documents! Guide me to how to print Adobe Acrobat documents received by email, please.
