I have used Thunderbird for years and years and never had a problem. The last 2 weeks all of my outgoing emails have been going to everyone's SPAM folders. I have an AT&T email account and I use the AT&T Pop server settings, for the Outgoing Server I have the Comcast/Xfinity settings. I receive emails with no problems, it is my outgoing emails only. I don't know if it is a Comcast problem, an AT&T problem or Thunderbird problem. I have been on the phone with Xfinity for 2.5 hours and still having problems. Any suggestions.

Ich benutze Thundebird das erste mal und würde gerne wissen wo meine gelöschten Mails hin verschoben werden wenn wie auf dem angehängten Bild keine Einstellung vorgenommen wurde standardmäßig. Werden die Mails dann direkt gelöscht aus der kompletten Mail-Adresse oder bleiben diese irgendwo gespeichert?

Die Gelöschten Mails sind im Mail Konto nicht mehr auffindbar.

The sent message is deleted but I get Filter action Failed.

Received Address book contact goes to 'spam' folder

I can send a message to one of my address book contacts without issue, but their replay always winds up in my spam folder. I click on "not" spam, but that does not resol… (gụkwuo)

I can send a message to one of my address book contacts without issue, but their replay always winds up in my spam folder. I click on "not" spam, but that does not resolve the issue. I do 'not' have an issue with any other of my address book contacts.

This has gone on for a while.

Why is spam from email addesses that are not in my address book, are still getting into my inbox.

I have my email set to not allow emails from any addresses that aren't in my book. If I follow their 'unsubscribe' link, I just get more of them. This is the latest one: ar849137@ocotille.com with a Reply To address of: 3527_rep_Y2pnZGVzaWduc0BlYXJ0aGxpbmsubmV0@ocotille.com Every one is different. Why are these getting through? Thanks Cary

I have found that once an email is put in the trash it will automatically be removed/deleted from the trash.

Today is June 14th and there are no emails in my trash folder older than June 9th.

Is there an account setting in Thunderbird for how long an email once in the trash folder will remain there?

Note, this behavior only occurs in the trash folder.

Using Mac Tahoe latest and Thunderbird 140.11.1esr (aarch64)

Despite my marking messages several times as NOT spam, Thunderbird keeps on and on RE-marking them as spam. And the mails are coming from one of my own addresses, and they ARE in my address book!!!!!

There seems no way that I can stop the beast from misbehaving.

I have 6 email accounts linked to Thunderbird. I noticed today on one of the accounts, along with inbox, drafts, sent, etc., there is now a spam icon. I didn't change any settings or even look at that email account today. This is the only account with that icon and it won't allow me to delete it. All settings between all accounts are the same, just this dang spam fire icon that I can't delete

Over the last week or so, I have received an enormous amount of scam, but no matter how many times I "train" the filter, it doesn't work.

I have just received another 3 from this site: mid:02guhjkj6-ABMcSHN6Or-JiC-000000@eu-central-1.amazonses.com, which claim to be from Madasafish Security>security@qi9adgongzenElptrum.de

I have tried on several occasions to follow the manual instructions how to deal with the spam, but I find it so log-winded that my non-techie brain, which is not wired for these kind of things, gets tired and I give up. If anyone has a more intuitive approach how to deal with this, I would be very appreciative. I have marked sites multiple times as spam, but the spam control ignores me!
