I'll just be browsing the internet or just have firefox open & it will just close everything, no matter what im doing the entire browser will close. No error message comes up, No "firefox isnt responding" message, No script error message, nothing. It just closes.

When I go to re-open it, it says: "Well this is embarrassing. Firefox is having trouble recovering your windows and tabs. This is usually caused by a recently opened web page.". This happens randomly through my time using the internet. I have the latest version of firefox and adobe flash. Whats going on?

When Firefox crashes, it usually records information about what was happening at that moment. If you are not seeing the Mozilla crash reporter, then your crashes might not be captured that way, but it's worth checking. Please check the last section of the support article mentioned above ("Firefox Crashes") for steps to get the latest crash IDs. If you find ones with date/time stamps matching these strange crashes, please post some of the recent ones here.

There is only one Adobe Flash Player, but there are two Shockwave for Director plugins showing (do not confuse the two).

  1. Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 12.0.6.147
  2. Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 12.0.4.144

The Shockwave for Director plugin is hardly used these days (possibly only with some games on specific online game sites), so there is no need to have this plugin installed and enabled.
