I have to resize my bookmark sidebar every time I close the browser. Is there any way to stop FF from resizing it back to a 1 inch strip?

Nice try but alas that is for the toolbar not the sidebar. I did try what the article said but wrong part of FF. I am trying to find a setting for the bookmark sidebar to stop ff from making it 1 damn inch every time I close the browser. It's is a small thing but anoying as hell when you have to reset it every time I open the browser.
