How do I remove recent searches from homepage on IOS?

I want to try firefox on my iPhone but I don’t like that it shows recent searches on the homepage and I (or anyone looking over my shoulder) can see everything I searched. I think it just looks ugly and I don’t want to remove the search everytime I want a clean looking honepage. I have tried looking for the answer everywhere but to no avail. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me. If It’s even possible.

In Customize Firefox Home on iOS you can disable history and searches on the home tab.
