Do you have instructions for accessing non-functional bookmarks and history system for a Mac - ie not Windows?

The instructions on the page for fixing the error message about bookmarks and history not functioning refer to a Windows system, which I don't use on my Mac. Nor can I find anything under Virus & Protection in my Privacy & Security settings. I'm unclear what to try next, so are you able to advise? Many thanks in advance for your help! Meredith Rose

Hi,

You can skip that step is you don't have any security software. Other info in the article should be platform-inclusive.

You can also check permissions for the related files before proceeding to the next step, but apart from that, I guess creating a new database is the best/only option.
