How do I get the YouTube homepage to load more recommended content like it usually does?

Right now when I access the homepage a small portion of recommended content is loaded followed by a loading icon that doesn't seem to load anything.

I have seemingly resolved my problem by accessing my YouTube homepage on desktop through Google Chrome then returning to my YouTube homepage in Firefox on Android.
