I cannot figure out how to use (open) any of the add-ons that I have installed. Specifically, right now I want to use the Gmail add-on and can't figure out how to do it.

I am using a 4.2 Android operating system.

It's not clear at all what add-on you're talking about. Please provide a link to the Mozilla add-on page for this add-on.
