When 'm working to upload an image, for example, into an article I'm publishing, let's say on LinkedIn, as I change directory (folder) from the default "Desktop," let's say to "Documents" or "Pictures," the process fails, the open window crashes (closes), and the message shared in the attached screenshot below is displayed: "The Windows file-dialog has crashed. No file or folder could be selected."

I thought that the last update to the browser, which was received about a week or so ago, will solve the problem, but it has not.

For the record, I have run all the diagnostics and optimization software (Command Prompt types, and manufacturer software types) to no avail: all report that there are no issues with the OS. Moreover, I only have this issue with Firefox.

Last but not least, on a parallel issue: for decades I've shared feedback on the crappy spellchecker. You have integrated AI in your software, but still offer a crappy rigid spellchecker. For the love of all that is holy, can't y'all fix that problem?! I'm sure that your AI can do that job!

And it's getting tiresome.

I have the same setup on several machines and only one machine will crash frequently.

Hello, I sent my new Asus laptop back for repair (via Curry's) as it had lost all sound. When it was returned they had stripped it down including removing my Firefox browser. I have reinstalled the Firefox browser, but everything I try to look at or click on just crashes (Gah! tab has crashed) and cannot be restored. So, apart from reporting this problem here now, I have been unable to access any website or page using the Firefox browser. I am not very tech savvy, so I would appreciate an answer that doesn't assume I have lots of prior technical knowledge (please spell it out for the technophobe!). Thank you to whoever can tell me what I have done wrong, or still need to do to fix this. Helen.

Lately Firefox keeps crashing on my iPhone, iOS 26.6.2

When I re-open it, all my open tabs reappear but all data entries on the webpage I was last on are gone.

This is only happening on my iPhone, not other devices.

I am getting a message below my bookmarks bar telling me: "You have an unsent crash report related to crashes being investigated, sending it will help us improve Firefox. Closing this notification will ignore this report." How do I access that report and send it?

If I leave Firefox on instead of closing out when I finish with my work, it will almost alwayns crash and make me sign in again, which means that I have to sign in again to Yahoo and Att email, as well as any other programs that I was using when I did work on my desktop. I am running Windows 11 and I'm update on all of my windows updates. If this can't be resolved in the next few days I will have to start using another Browser

I am back again with the same issue that I presented on the forum post three months ago. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1594903?utm_campaign=questions-reply The difference is now it is happening on Firefox v157.0.1;everything else is identical. Qubes os R4.3.2 with Firefox 157.0.1 in a Fedora 44 xfce VM. To recap I open one window for Proxmox Datacenter Manager and as soon as I click to sign in Firefox completely disappears. I can open this in Chromium browser and Firefox ESR v.140.17.0 esr perfectly fine. Please consult the original post for all I did to troubleshoot this. I am working with the esr version now but would like to help put this issue to bed. Community members stepped up last time to help me so I am here to do my small part for others. Firefox locks up and crashes on Win 10 desktop after it Firefox updates. If I refresh Firefox it seems to work OK for a couple weeks until Firefox updates . Then it becomes unuseable again. I have refreshed firefox twice now. Should I get this ESR version?

I don"t understand why Firefox does not explain why I cannot get Lifelabs Toromto St. Uxbridge ON to stay open for me to make an appointment. The computor freezes, then I cannot do anything with the computor.

And it is rather annoying that the report does not tell me which addon is misbehaving either. I do know it runs just fine without any addons enabled so hence, the problem lies with a buggy addon and I'm left in the dark about which one.
